Daiwa's X45 carbon technology provides excellent torque control and improved feel, while V-Joint construction creates a smooth, progressive curve when the rod is under load. Multiplier models also feature a shaped Powerlift foregrip for enhanced grip, control and leverage.

The downtide range includes 7ft and 8ft models across three line classes, with shorter handle configurations designed to position multiplier reels closer to the angler for improved control. The lighter 8ft 8-15lb model is particularly suited to anglers looking for a more sensitive boat fishing set-up.

For anglers who prefer a fixed spool reel, two dedicated 8ft models are available in 12-20lb and 20-30lb classes. These feature guides designed to accommodate the wider line path from a fixed spool, together with a longer handle and higher reel seat position.

Travelling anglers can choose from four-piece Super Kenzaki boat rods in 12-20lb, 20-30lb and 30-50lb classes. With a packed length of just 60cm, they're ideal for fitting into luggage, while V-Joint technology helps maintain a smooth curve when fishing.

The range is completed by a versatile 9ft 6in uptide rod, rated to cast 4-10oz. Its distinctive tip action is designed for casting rigs away from the boat while clearly showing the characteristic drop-back bites associated with uptide fishing. The handle configuration favours fixed spool reels but can also accommodate a multiplier.

With proven Super Kenzaki design combined with modern Daiwa carbon technology, this comprehensive range offers dependable performance for a wide variety of UK boat fishing styles.
