Designed to replicate slender bodied baitfish profiles found on species like pilchards, mullet and sardines, the riptide body shape is highly effective on all predatory species. The floating and sinking lures have a very different action, and there are a variety of ways to work each stickbait lure.
This lure is available in a range of sizes - suited to a wide variety of species. The smaller sizes are our favourite bass lures and the larger sizes are must have tropical and bluewater lures. They're tail weighted so with the right gear you can chuck them a long way. However you work it, the Ridtide is a fish catching weapon. Ideal for Barramundi, Mangrove Jacks, Trevally, Bass, Flathead and many other inshore species.
The relatively flat sides and concave scallop along the body adds to the distinctive S-shaped action. This design also creates a distinct body roll at slower retrieve speeds as well as the S shaped swimming action that drives predators crazy.
Purpose built with HD ABS plastic and foam filled, the 2mm machine stamped metal plate the the body then creates the ultimate tough lure. Ideal for GT's, dogtooth tuna and all large tuna species.
The floating version has the perfect balance required to achieve that dynamic, strike enducing ‘S’ shaped swimming motion. A long sweep of the rod tip makes the head duck under with a splash, then as the water flows over the lures body a seductive body roll and ‘S’ wave action is imparted sub-surface. The sinking variety has the internal weights placed to maximize casting but also to allow the lure to be retrieved with a sub-surface walk the dog action, which sees the lure able to turn nearly 180 degrees when retrieved slowly with a walk the dog “twitching” rod tip action.

Riptide 95 & 115 Fatso - a wider body version of the renowned Riptide design. It has been made as the ultimate surface “walk the dog” lure. It features an internal rattle and is perfectly balanced for long distance casting. When twitched and walked in a side-to-side action, the lure can flick 180°, and can even be made to turn backwards on itself. It can be worked aggressively or can be worked in a very subtle and slow manner with just minor twitches of the rod tip and a subtle splash.
Riptide 125/155/200 Slow Sink - these lures sit level and sink slowly allowing you to explore different depths.

- GORILLA THROUGH WIRE: This through wire system has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body, and ensuring ultimate strength. The through wire is also welded at both ends to ensure you never lose that big fish.
- HD ABS SYSTEM: Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than other plastics used for lure production. These lures also feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
- TRIPLE SHIELD PROTECTION: We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensures that the finish on your lure will last longer.
