Since we started stocking Nomad Products around 2015 we have seen a great deal of innovation in their range of lures. In all this time the Madscad Stickbait has stood out as possibly the best all-round fish catching lure in their range. You will find a lure that will catch bass after bass at one end of the Madscad family and a super strong offshore tuna lure at the other. The range includes lures of weights and sizes perfect for any predatory species in both salt and fresh water.

Styled on the typical deep bellied baitfish such as herring, scad and fusiliers. The design has been refined over years of testing and many prototypes. The subtle features like the flattened top of the head, the scalloped curve on the side of the body and the small tail wings all make the action on this lure dynamic.

The Madscad sinks level and actually wiggles like a subtle vibration lure whilst sinking, and it's erratic swimming action when twitched on a cast retrieve is irresistible to fish.

NEW - Madscad 190 Auto Tune Squall Runner will change the way you troll forever. Capable of trolling speeds between 3-18+ knots, with a shallow diving depth of 1-3 ft and an incredible side to side action, the Madscad 190 AT is unlike any other trolling lure.

Fishing the Madscad

You can employ a faster straight retrieve as well, but either the faster retrieve or the slow twitch will entice strikes. Our recommended retrieve when casting is a couple of quick twitches and then a 2-3 second pause to let the lure slowly sink and wiggle and then twitch it again.

All models now come rigged with either inline single or treble BKK hooks and heavy duty split rings. The hooks chosen are the result of real world testing by the Nomad team.

Madscad 95MM

The ultimate all round casting stickbait for inshore and estuary species. Comes fitted with BKK super sharp super strong trebles.

Madscad 115MM

The Madscad 115 is the ultimate all round casting stickbait, and has accounted for more species than any other lure on Nomad Sportfishing charters. Fitted with inline singles and the Gorilla Through Wire system, it is ready to fish out of the box. This stickbait is perfect when fished for tuna, mackerel and queenfish. Fitted with BKK 3/0 inline single hooks.

Madscad 150MM & 190MM

The Madscad shows its diverse ability with the 150 and 190 sizes able to be trolled, and the 190 Deep trolling at over 12kn - making it a super enticing wahoo, mahi mahi or tuna lure. The 190mm option comes in the standard 140g sinking or the fast sinking 160g option, which is better for fast trolling.

The 150 and 190 sizes are fitted with super tough 5/0 (150) and 11/0 (190) BKK inline single hooks and the lures feature the Matrix Metal Plate system in the body for ultimate durability. Whether it is GTs, Kingfish, tuna or mackerel when casting, or trolling for wahoo, tuna, marlin or sailfish, the Madscad can do it all. The all-round trolling and casting ability makes it a must have for any serious bluewater fishing trip.

Madscad 190MM Squall Runner

The Squall Runner High Speed series encompasses a range of Nomad Design Bluewater lures capable of achieving unheard-of high-speed performance with 18+ knots in most conditions. This range of lures is fit for purpose and are fast food for big Pelagic’s.

We take a simple approach to UK delivery, if you're in the UK and spend over £50 then we'll generally ship your goods for FREE. In some cases there will be a surcharge for outsize parcels to remote areas. We will contact you if this is the case and will endeavour to keep any additional charges to a minimum.

Charges for UK orders under £50 are:
Small Parcels e.g. hooks, flies, small lures up to 1kg: prices £5.75 to £5.95
Medium Parcels e.g. reels, large lures, regular line spools up to 2kg: prices up to £7.95
Large Parcels e.g. rods, multiple goods, large line spools over 2kg: prices from £11.95

These charges consider the current costs of packaging, handling and postage for smaller orders.

UK Next Day Upgrade

We also offer an upgraded next day delivery service from £9.99. This is a next working day service. Please be aware that you must place your order before 1:00pm for next day delivery. Orders placed after 1:00pm on Thursday should arrive Monday. Orders placed after the 1:00pm cut off on Friday will not be dispatched until Monday, for Tuesday arrival. We will always try our best to ship your goods as promptly as possible however there may be circumstances beyond our control that result in delivery being delayed. Please call if you require a Saturday delivery and we will try and arrange  – there may be an additional charge for this service. Next day services require a signature – please ensure someone will be in to accept delivery.
